MT. WILSON BROADCASTERS Country KKGO (GO COUNTRY)/LOS ANGELES will welcome CHRISTINE MARTINDALE back for afternoons effective MONDAY, AUGUST 15th. MARTINDALE succeeds PAUL FREEMAN in the 2p-8p (PT) slot; FREEMAN is set to retire from the business and relocate closer to family members in WASHINGTON state (NET NEWS 8/3).
MARTINDALE originally joined KKGO for middays in 2013 (NET NEWS 1/15/13) before departing the station in MARCH of this YEAR (NET NEWS 3/18). "I am thrilled to be back on the air and work again with the GO COUNTRY 105 family," said MARTINDALE. The return of MARTINDALE rounds out the on-air schedule for KKGO, as middays will continue to be filled with Country artists performing as guest DJs similar to the roles DUSTIN LYNCH (NET NEWS 5/4) and CASSADEE POPE (NET NEWS 6/23) have held this year.
