Photographer Sues Beasley Over Use Of Cronut Photo On WJBR/Wilmington Website

The latest photographer lawsuit against a broadcaster for copyright infringement has DAVID MCGLYNN suing BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP in the Southern District of NEW YORK for using a photograph of a cronut without permission or credit.
The suit, filed TUESDAY, alleges that BEASLEY used a copyrighted photo of the delicacy, specifically one called "The Rocky," on the website of AC WJBR/WILMINGTON, DE without licensing the image.
MCGLYNN is looking for actual or up to $150,000 statutory damages plus attorney's fees and costs for the alleged infringement.
