SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM has gotten an extension of the time granted by NASDAQ for the broadcaster to regain compliance with listing standards for the NASDAQ Global Market.
In an SEC Form 8-K filing, SBS said that it got the extension and continued listing until JANUARY 23, 2017 through a hearing before the NASDAQ Hearings Panel. The original notice requiring raising the company's stock above $15 million in market value expired JULY 26th and the company failed to meet the requirement but filed the hearing notice on JULY 27th and got its hearing on SEPTEMBER 8th, with the extension granted on SEPTEMBER 12th.
