Former WMMR/PHILADELPHIA producer/writer ROGER WILKO's documentary film "Mayor, Mimes, Members And Merchants" will show as part of the LOUIS VUITTON HAWAII International Film Festival. The HONOLULU City Council tried to ban street performers in WAIKIKI last year, and the documentary covers the passage of the law, the subsequent veto and the threatened override.
The film gets a little crazy when some of the aggressive street performers get upset and start to attack the camera! REPRISE VP/Promo BOB WEIL is one of the film's producers.
