CD Baby Names Jon Bahr VP/Music Publishing And Rights Management

Independent distributor and artist services company CD BABY has appointed JON BAHR VP/Music Publishing and Rights Management. A 13-year veteran of ASCAP, BAHR will oversee administering more than 500,000 compositions for 100,000 songwriters in CD BABY PRO, in cooperation with SONGTRUST.
“I’m thrilled to bring onboard a skilled and experienced industry veteran to spearhead CD bABY’s rights management initiatives,” CD BABY CEO TRACY MADDUX said. "BAHR’s expertise will supplement the company’s constantly expanding offerings. CD BABY has been at the forefront of creating support structures to support independent artists and their royalty and rights needs, boosting income and helping create substantive careers. The company distributes nearly seven million songs to a wide range of digital services, such as SPOTIFY and APPLE MUSIC."
