European Radio Show 2017 Ends On A High Note

THE EUROPEAN RADIO SHOW 2017 concluded today in PARIS with a commitment to play host to even more international exhibitors and conference speakers in the 2018 edition happening here in PARIS next FEBRUARY. Over 6,000 people attended this year from all areas and departments of the radio industry to learn about, speak and hear about the latest innovations in streaming, studio cameras, podcasting, IP, content, DAB and more.

ERS Event Organiser PHILIPPE CHAPOT told ENDA CALDWELL, “We had about 20% International speakers and exhibitors this year and we were very happy with the results but next year we are planning to increase our International input to 50/50 International/French involvement”

BLUE REVOLUTION UK CEO PAUL HOLLINS told AKK ACCESS, “It’s great to see such a vibrant radio event and a buzzing French radio market where we at BLUE REVOLUTION launched our latest radio content aimed at the non-English speaking market including INTERNATIONAL work parts-only version of TOTALLY 80’s and TOTALLY 90’s where stations can choose their own host in whatever language they broadcast in for their local or national markets”  

EUROPEAN BROADCASTING UNION (EBU) Projects Portfolio Manager ALAIN ARTERO launched their brand new “dot radio” domain name extension. You can find out more about a dot radio extension for your station here.

WORLDDAB, a sponsor and exhibitor at EUROPEAN RADIO SHOW 2017, hosted a digital radio session within the main conference programme titled “A vision for the future of radio: DAB+ in Europe.” The session featured broadcasters, regulators and digital radio expects from across Europe. Other In-ENGLISH-Only sessions were “SPORT AND RADIO IN EUROPE” with FRANCOIS GIUSEPPE from RADIO MONTE CARLO (RMC) SPORT and VANESSA MESSAD – WIRELESS GROUP UK.

Next year will see even more content providers and exhibitors, ENGLISH speakers, exciting new innovations, displays and stands for the 2018 Edition of The EUROPEAN RADIO SHOW next FEBRUARY here in PARIS, FRANCE.
