  The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION will honor JOHN LEGEND with its 2019 Service to America Leadership Award at the Celebration of Service to America Awards event in WASHINGTON on JUNE 11th. The singer is being honored for his community work, including the SHOW ME CAMPAIGN focused on equal education access and criminal justice reform, the LRNG INNOVATORS education project, and the FREEAMERICA criminal justice reform campaign.
  
  “JOHN LEGEND’s outstanding success as a musician and entertainer is matched by his outspoken advocacy for disadvantaged communities,” said NABLF President MARCELLUS ALEXANDER. “His steadfast commitment to public service wholly embodies the spirit of the Leadership Award.”
