CLEAR CHANNEL today (1/19) announced that it will merge two of its technology units, RCS and PROPHET SYSTEMS. RCS Pres./CEO PHILIPPE GENERALI will lead the combined company, while former PROPHET SYSTEMS co-Pres. CHIP JELLISON will head Technology and Development. The merged company will retain the name RCS and be headquartered in WHITE PLAINS, NY while maintaining operations in OGALLALA, NE.
"I am thrilled and honored to have been chosen to run this new organization," said GENERALI. "I can see only benefits for our existing customers. We will deliver better software and services with the resources that will fuel this combined entity."
JELLISON said, "Both companies already have a focus on customer service with great innovative software solutions. Leading the Technology and Development side of this company is an amazing opportunity."
Meanwhile, some familiar names are exiting. CTO TED NYGREEN, VP/Sales RICHARD DARR, Marketing Manager TOM ZARECKI, Dir./Industry Affairs MICHAEL DALFONZO, and a couple of trade show support folks are moving on.
