Top 10 Moneymakers In Music

FORBES reports in the current issue on music's biggest moneymakers. The 10 acts on the list made a collective $973 million in 2006. That's down slightly from last year's total of $994 million.
At the top are THE ROLLING STONES, who top the list for the second year in a row. They generated $150.6 million over the course of the year, thanks in large part to their "A Bigger Bang" tour. Like so many of the acts on the list, the STONES earned the vast majority of their money on the road.
