Tom Joyner Joins In Tribute To Aretha Franklin

REACH MEDIA nationally syndicated radio host TOM JOYNER joins a star-studded list of celebrities who pay tribute to ARETHA FRANKLIN during the UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND's Annual Evening of Stars that airs this weekend around the country on WGN-TV. During the show, JOYNER pays his respects to the "Queen" for her tremendous contributions to music over the past 40 years. In an interview on JOYNER's morning show this week, FRANKLIN said she was overwhelmed by the tributes and performances by everyone, including JENNIFER HUDSON, STEVIE WONDER, FANTASIA, RUBEN STUDDARD, NATALIE COLE and MICHAEL BOLTON.

"What a night, what a tribute," FRANKLIN said on THURSDAY (1/25). "Everybody just wore me out. It's a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful feeling to have your peers come together and say 'we appreciate you.'"
