MICROSOFT VP/Entertainment & Devices BRYAN LEE, who led business development and marketing for the ZUNE digital music player, is leaving due to personal reasons, the AP reports. The company says LEE's exit is "absolutely not" related to sales of the ZUNE player, which was released last NOVEMBER.
Division spokeswoman MOLLY O'DONNELL said LEE "felt there was never a great time" to leave MICROSOFT but that "after reaching this milestone, he’s going to leave the company and pursue other things at this time."
J ALLARD, a MICROSOFT VP who oversaw the ZUNE's design and development, will assume LEE's ZUNE-related duties.
