Former ENTERCOM Talk KIRO-A/SEATTLE night host MIKE WEBB was found guilty of insurance fraud in KING COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT on FRIDAY.
WEBB had been charged with buying car insurance after a crash and backdating the paperwork to trick GEICO into thinking that the crash was covered. WEBB, whose first trial on the charges ended in a mistrial, was sentenced to 240 hours of community service, a $1,000 fine, and continuing mental health treatment.
WEBB told the SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER that he believes he was set up by a hacker who disagrees with WEBB's liberal opinions.
