As ALL ACCESS hinted yesterday (NET NEWS 2/5), MARK WATERS has officially been promoted to Sr. VP/Market Manager of CBS RADIO's three stations in PHOENIX, Adult Hits KOOL, Country KMLE and Talk KZON. He joined the cluster last NOVEMBER as Dir./Sales & Business Development and before that was VP/GM of BONNEVILLE's crosstown Top 40/Rhythmic KKFR and Director/Sales of the BONNEVILLE/PHOENIX cluster. WATERS replaces MARCO CAMACHO, who exited.
"We are thrilled to have MARK assume this important management role of our heritage PHOENIX radio stations," said CBS RADIO Exec. VP BRIAN ONGARO. "MARK has a solid reputation and a very successful track record in the market. Having spent his entire radio career in PHOENIX, he is uniquely qualified for this position. I am eager to have MARK step up to the challenge of taking our PHOENIX radio stations to new and exciting levels."
In related news, GREG GARBER is promoted to GSM of KZON. GARBER tells ALL ACCESS, "I’m not big on quotes, so I’ll just let the revenue do the talking for me and our team. I’m very excited about this new opportunity and look forward to the challenge."
