FCC Fines PA Station For Excessive Night Power

Southern Gospel WADV-A/LEBANON, PA gets fined $4,000 by the FCC for power limit violations. The station is authorized for a nominal 5 watts at night but failed to reduce power or turn off the transmitter at local sunset.
And the Commission also issued more Notices of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture for failure to timely file renewal applications, proposing $1,500 fines on FAMILY RADIO INC. (K257CI/DECORAH, IA) and ROLLA CHINESE CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (KJTR-LP/ROLLA, MO) and $7,000 fines for ELENBAAS MEDIA INC. (KMZK-A/BILLINGS, MT), MEDIA ASSOCIATES INC. (KBJM-A/LEMMON, SD), GALLATIN VALLEY WITNESS INC. (KGVW-A/BELGRADE, MT), SCHWEITZER MEDIA INC. (KNDC-A/HETTINGER, ND), THOMPSON FALLS TV DISTRICT (K280BE/THOMPSON FALLS, MT), and BIG SKY OWNERS ASSOCIATION INC. (K257AE/WEST FORK, MT).
