Former MARYLAND Governor BOB EHRLICH and his wife, KENDEL, will host a weekly show for HEARST-ARGYLE Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE starting MARCH 31, according to the BALTIMORE SUN's NICK MADIGAN. The EHRLICHS, who will air 9-11a ET SATURDAYS, chose WBAL over crosstown Talk rivals WCBM-A and WHFS for the weekly appearance.
In addition, former State Senator CLARENCE MITCHELL IV ("C4") has been added to WBAL for weeknights 9p-midnight, and SUN sports columnist PETER SCHMUCK will add a SUNDAY show before ORIOLES games (the play-by-play of which will air on WHFS) to his regular SATURDAY show. And SUN columnist DAN RODRICKS' twice-weekly co-hosting gig with CHIP FRANKLIN in afternoons has ended, with RODRICKS declining an offer for his own show.
