EMI Restructures Iberia, Latin America Units

EMI MUSIC SPAIN GM SIMONE BOSE has been promoted to Managing Director of EMI MUSIC IBERIA, with responsibility for EMI’s operations in SPAIN and PORTUGAL. BOSE reports to EMI MUSIC INTERNATIONAL Chairman/CEO JEAN-FRANCOIS CECILLON.
EMI MUSIC IBERIA President/CEO MANOLO DIAZ will move to a new role as special advisor to CECILLON, taking responsibility for creative and operational assignments in the EMI MUSIC INTERNATIONAL. Both BOSE and DIAZ's duties are effective APRIL 1.
DIAZ's first assignment will be to oversee EMI MUSIC’s LATIN AMERICA regional office and EMI MUSIC BRAZIL, following the departure from the company today of EMI LATIN AMERICA regional President/CEO MARCO BISSI. DIAZ will be based in MIAMI.
Now reporting directly to CECILLON in LATIN AMERICA are EMI TELEVISA U.S./TELEVISA EMI MEXICO Managing Director RODOLFO LOPEZ-NEGRETE (for his EMI duties); EMI MUSIC MEXICAO GM/A&R CAMILO LARA; EMI MUSIC ARGENTINA Managing Director CAAMILO KEJNER (who is also currently overseeing EMI MUSIC CHILE); and EMI MUSIC COLOMBIA Managing Director ALVARO RIZO.
