Longtime CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WFLZ (933 FLZ)/TAMPA Imaging Guru NICK DALEY has resigned and has joined MERCURY RADIO ARTS INC., the production company owned by GLENN BECK, who appears nationwide via his PREMIERE-syndicated daily radio show and nightly on CNN HEADLINE NEWS.
"I love great-sounding radio," said BECK. "I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the best creative directors in the industry, and NICK is one of them. I'm looking forward to working together with NICK to launch a suite of new imaging products for radio that continue to redefine what great radio sounds like."
DALEY, whose other clients have included AOL, SIRIUS, MTV, and PREMIERE RADIO, added, "I'm stoked to be joining GLENN BECK and everyone at MERCURY. GLENN is a true innovator at the core and I'm excited to work directly with him to create products and services that can potentially benefit every aspect of the media world."
WFLZ PD TOMMY CHUCK added, "JEFF LAWRENCE, BRIAN JAMES, ERIC CHASE and NICK DALEY, these names are modern radio legends. They are innovators who certainly made their mark on Top 40 radio. Some refer to them as genius. I certainly do. Now, it's time to add another name to that list. The whole team at WFLZ is sad to see NICK go, but wish him the best in his new role."
In addition to developing new products for MERCURY RADIO ARTS, NICK will be working directly with ERIC CHASE again, as a contributing producer for CHASE CUTS. The two worked together for years at WFLZ.
