FCC Fines: Public File Problems, Pirate, Late License Renewal Apps

The FCC has fined WILSON BROADCASTING INC. $12,000 for public file violations at its WJJN/COLUMBIA, AL and WAGF-A & F/DOTHAN, AL.
The Commission also fined JEAN-HARRY PIERRE-FRANCOIS has been fined $10,000 for running a pirate station in TAMPA.
And after a hiatus of a few weeks, the Commission has returned to proposing fines for late license renewal filings, with $1,500 fines proposed for LINCOLN UNIVERSITY (WLNX/LINCOLN, IL), and TAMA RADIO LICENSES OF JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA INC. (WFJO/FOLKSTON, GA) and $7,000 fines proposed for WBLB INC. (WBLB-A/PULASKI, VA), MARION R. WILLIAMS (WSTT-A/THOMASVILLE, GA), R&B COMMUNICATIONS INC. (WWTM-A/DECATUR, AL), APPLIED LIFE MINISTRIES INC. (KALR/HOT SPRINGS, AR), and ALABAMA STATE UNIVERSITY (WVAS/MONTGOMERY).
