SILENT MAJORITY GROUP (SMG) has entered into an exclusive promotion and distribution deal with WARNER MUSIC GROUP's INDEPENDENT LABEL GROUP (ILG), being distributed by ADA. SMG, founded by CREED manager JEFF HANSON as a full-service record label and management company based out of ORLANDO, recently signed former FUEL drummer KEVIN MILLER's new group, FOSTERCHILD; WOODALE; TANTRIC; and FRAMING HANLEY.
"WMG has come up with an amazing concept and one that is desperately needed in the ever-changing music business," HANSON said. "They have embraced SMG and our artists' 'do-it-yourself mentality' by supplementing our staff, providing us with the vast array of people and services that we need so that we can bring back the focus on artist development. They have big time industry pros like TODD MOSCOWITZ, FRED FELDMAN, STU BERGEN, MARK ROBINSON, and CHERYL VALENTINE giving me everything I need from marketing, radio, and digital opportunities, to back room support like accounting and licensing. Not to mention that my records are now distributed by ADA, the #1 independent distributor and sales staff there is."
