Bill Cosby Addresses Carnegie Graduates In Pittsburgh

Actor/comedian BILL COSBY was the keynote speaker and addressed graduates of one of the country’s top engineering schools, CARNEGIE-MELLON INSTITUTE in PITTSBURGH at GESLING STADIUM today. He said , “He was bothered by anyone who doesn’t know how to mingle, get along with other people, dance or just stand in a room and look human." He carefully avoided issues that involved rap lyrics and those who create, promote and profit from them. Almost conspiculous because of their absence, these were issues that in the past would have part of his remarks.
"Don't talk yourself into not being you," COSBY said. "Be sure of yourselves, be proud. But you can't be proud and you can't carry it out unless you are sure of yourself and prepared. That's where the nerds stand tall."
COSBY, you may remember, grew up in PHILADELPHIA housing projects, served in the US NAVY and holds a doctorate in education from the UNIVERSITY of MASSACHUSETTS AMHERST.
