Latest Imus-Slot Fill-In At WFAN: Mike, (Mostly) Sans Mad Dog
June 1, 2007 at 11:40 AM (PT)
How is CBS Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK going to get through the month of JUNE with the morning slot vacated by the fired DON IMUS still wide open? The station says that it will have afternoon "MIKE AND THE MAD DOG" co-host MIKE FRANCESA handle mornings through the end of the month, while still doing the extra-long afternoon show with CHRIS "MAD DOG" RUSSO on most days. The DOG will make occasional appearances helping FRANCESA out in mornings during the month.
WFAN has tried out several potential IMUS replacements since the longtime syndicated host's APRIL implosion, including BOOMER ESIASON, MIKE NORTH, GERALDO RIVERA, and JOHN and PATRICK MCENROE.
