'National Defense' Now Syndicated By TRN

TALK RADIO NETWORK picks up syndication duties for the weekly "THE NATIONAL DEFENSE RADIO SHOW." The show, hosted by VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS Communications Dir. JERRY NEWBERRY and KANSAS CITY radio personality RANDY MILLER, was previously independently syndicated by its producer, BRAINSTORM MEDIA.
"'THE NATIONAL DEFENSE' is a very patriotic program, and we make no apologies for that fact," says NEWBERRY. "We're proud of our men and women in uniform, as well as our military's heritage. Most importantly, we don't favor any political party – we do favor what is best for our troops, and we're not shy about it.
"We don't favor any political party â?? we do favor what is best for our troops, and we're not shy about it.
"We don’t play favorites with any one political party. The VFW’s focus is on what’s best for our troops. And we won’t be shy in bringing any issue to the table. That’s what the VFW does, and we don’t care if politicians can’t take the heat. The VFW is about service and support which is why we dedicate our services to AMERICA’s uniformed services."
TRN CEO MARK MASTERS says, "We are thrilled to have 'THE NATIONAL DEFENSE' join the TRN ENTERTAINMENT weekend lineup. There are millions of Americans who want and need to hear unfiltered and unbiased opinions from someone like JERRY NEWBERRY, who, as a soldier of the VIETNAM era, understands the challenges and dangers our troops face.
"We look forward to syndicating 'THE NATIONAL DEFENSE' and making sure the issues concerning our military get a full, fair and passionate hearing on a weekly basis."
