CHRISTOPHER LENZ has been named Sr. VP/Video-Content Production for SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT's Creative Group. Since 2000 LENZ has been VP/Head of TV/Radio/DVD Design & Production in SONY BMG's Creative department.
Based in NEW YORK, LENZ reports to Creative Group Exec. VP ADAM OWETT and will work closely with SONY BMG's various labels and imprints to create music videos, commercials, EPKs, DVD/BluRay discs, viral films, web and mobile-based video projects, documentaries and more.
"It is with genuine respect and admiration that I announce CHRIS' promotion today -- I have worked with him for many years now, and I am well aware of his incredible, far reaching talents," said OWETT. "He understands the power of good advertising, and the innovative spots he has created for artists such as BOB DYLAN, FIONA APPLE, TORI AMOS, BOW WOW, JAMES TAYLOR, and BEYONCE illustrate his ability to craft compelling messages that benefit the projects CHRIS works on. During his tenure with the company he has turned his department into an award-winning powerhouse."
LENZ said, "We have an amazing team working in production, and together we've been able to create interesting and award-winning projects for our artists and labels. I look forward to working with ADAM, our labels, and the entire Creative Group as we build on our past successes, and continue to develop winning media campaigns."
