CHUM Closes Deal
CTVgm has quickly closed on the CHUM transaction. CTVgm takes ownership of 34 radio stations; the six A-CHANNEL TV stations in ONTARIO and VICTORIA, BC; CKX-TV/BRANDON, MB; and 19 cable networks. The five CITY-TV stations are being left in trust with JOHN MCKELLAR until closing of their sale to ROGERS BROADCASTING, and CTVgm will proceed with the sale of CHUM's half interest in MUSIQUEPLUS and MUSIMAX to ASTRAL MEDIA.
