Jones TWC Tops RADAR 93

JONES MEDIAAMERICA's TWC RADIO NETWORK edged out ABC DAYTIME DIRECTION NETWORK and WESTWOOD ONE's WON I NETWORK to top the RADAR 93 JUNE 2007 rankings among persons 12+. The JONES network, based on THE WEATHER CHANNEL's reports, delivered an average rating of 2.7 to DAYTIME DIRECTION's 2.6 and WON I's 2.5 in the ratings, covering MARCH 30-APRIL 4, 2007. Filling out the top 10 are DIAL GLOBAL COMPLETE FM NETWORK, ABC RIME ACCESS RADIO NETWORK, WW1's WON III, DIAL GLOBAL's CONTEMPORARY NETWORK, PREMIERE's MORNING DRIVE NETWORK, and ABC's MORNING NEWS RADIO and NEWS/TALK RADIO networks.
Among the 18-49 rankings, the top 10 included DIAL GLOBAL's COMPLETE FM NETWORK, JONES' TWC, DIAL GLOBAL CONTEMPORARY NETWORK, PREMIERE EMERALD PLUS and MEDIABASE FEMALE networks, ABC DAYTIME DIRECTION, WW1's WON III and WON I networks, and PREMIERE's DIAMOND PLUS and EMERALD networks. JONES TWC topped 25-54, followed by DIAL GLOBAL's COMPLETE FM and CONTEMPORARY networks; ABC DAYTIME DIRECTION; WW1's WON I and WON III; PREMIERE's MEDIABASE FEMALE, EMERALD PLUS, and MORNING DRIVE networks; and ABC PRIME ACCESS RADIO NETWORK.
The numbers also showed 72% of American consumers 12+, 18+, and 35+ heard one or more network radio commercials in the course of a week; 74% of persons 18-49 and 25-54 heard network commercials on the 55 RADAR-measured networks.
Also related to the RADAR release, JONES MEDIAAMERICA launched two new networks, ADULT POWER and FEMALE PERSPECTIVE, which are reported in the RADAR 93 special tabulation but will officially debut in RADAR 94.
