When spectators arrive at the AT&T NATIONAL GOLD TOURNAMENT hosted by TIGER WOODS this week, they can pick up satellite radios from XM to hear the tournament coverage for free for the day. XM has an all-golf radio channel called the PGA TOUR NETWORK. The channel will have sportscasters positioned throughout CONGRESSIONAL COUNTRY CLUB for play-by-play coverage of the event.
XM will air the tournament to its 8 million customers nationwide starting today. From FRIDAY to SUNDAY, the first 1,000 spectators to visit the XM booths at CONGRESSIONAL each morning can pick up a complimentary satellite radio for the day. The trial radio is free for the day, and people can buy the radios at day's end.
