WAITT RADIO NETWORKS (WRN) has launched its newest format, "THE LOUNGE," with the moniker "THE NEW SOUND OF ADULT STANDARDS." The LOUNGE will be offered with localized content from the network and has already been running on KMOJ-A/OMAHA.
WRN GM KURT LUCHS calls THE LOUNGE "a new take on a classic format," explaining, "The music is timeless -- everything from SINATRA and show tunes to Baby Boomer standards like 'Let It Be.' But the key to the format is to keep it fresh by adding current versions of perennial tunes by hitmakers like DIANA KRALL and MICHAEL BUBLE."
