Price For 16 AZ, CA Clear Channel Stations: $40 Million

The previously announced CLEAR CHANNEL sale of 16 CALIFORNIA and ARIZONA stations to JASON R. WOLFF's FRONTIER CAPITAL PARTNERS/EL DORADO BROADCASTERS LLC is costing the buyer $40 million, according to the paperwork filed with the FCC. WOLFF is getting Country KSLY (CAT COUNTRY 96.1), AC KSTT (COAST 101.3), Rock KURQ (107.3 THE ROCK), and Talk KVEC-A/SAN LUIS OBISPO; Talk KSMA-A, Country KSNI (SUNNY COUNTRY), Spanish Adult Hits KSMY (LA PRECIOSA), and Classic Rock KXFM (99.1 THE FOX)/SANTA MARIA-LOMPOC; Country KATJ (KAT COUNTRY), Rock KIXA (106.5 THE FOX), Talk KIXW-A, Oldies KRSX (CRUISIN 105.3), and Hot AC KZXY (Y-102)/VICTOR VALLEY (VICTORVILLE-BARSTOW), CA; and Talk KBLU-A, AC KQSR (STAR 100.9), and Country KTTI/YUMA, AZ in the deal.

In other deals filed with the FCC, FOUR HIM ENTERPRISES LLC is selling Contemporary Christian simulcast KPVR/BOWLING GREEN, MO and KHZR/POTOSI, MO (JOY FM) to GATEWAY CREATIVE BROADCASTING INC. for $3.58 million ($3 million cash, $580,000 in a promissory note).
MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOUNDATION INC. is donating noncommercial Religion KTLC/CANON CITY, CO and 23 FM translators in COLORADO to EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OF COLORADO SPRINGS INC.
M&M BROADCASTERS LTD. is selling Classic Country daytimer KEOR-A/CATOOSA, OK-TULSA to JEROME FRIEMEL's THE RAFTT CORPORATION for $10,000. The station is moving from ATOKA, OK north to CATOOSA.
LPFM KXVR-LP/CORPUS CHRISTI licensee COMUNIDAD CHRISTIANA OF CORPUS CHRISTI is changing hands, as Pastor TITO GONZALEZ relinquishes his 100% interest and resigns, with RAFAEL RIVERA taking over 100% control. And at COMUNIDAD CHRISTIANA OF AMARILLO, licensee of LPFM KXZX-LP/AMARILLO, President SAMUEL DE LOS SANTOS is giving up his 100% interest to JOSE B. MARQUEZ.
