The NFL's JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS ink a renewal deal to keep the team's games on COX RADIO Talk WOKV-A-F/JACKSONVILLE. Terms of the deal were undisclosed. The team has appeared on WOKV since 1994. BRIAN SEXTON and JEFF LAGEMAN will be back for their fifth season in the radio booth, with WOKV Sports Dir. COLE PEPPER back to host pre- and post-game shows.
"WOKV has been a model partner for us since our beginning," said JAGUARS VP/Communications and Media DAN EDWARDS. "Our games and shows have had one radio home for 13 years and we’re excited to continue on WOKV. JAGUARS fans can look forward to the same quality programming and broadcasts that they have been accustomed to."
"It's going to be a great year and we are excited to continue our partnership with the JAGUARS as their only flagship radio station," said WOKV GM BILL HENDRICH. "While many of the heritage elements remain, we are adding exciting new voices, expanding the role of well-known contributors, and listeners will be hearing more from current and former JAGUARS players, and because WOKV broadcasts on both AM 690 and 106.5 FM, it's easier than ever for JAGUARS fans to tune in."
