Ex-KDND's Cox Talks About Water Drinking Contest
July 31, 2007 at 9:11 AM (PT)
Surely one of the saddest moments in recent radio history happened when ENTERCOM Top 40 KDND (107.9 THE END)/SACRAMENTO listener JENNIFER STRANGE suddenly passed away of hyponatremia (water intoxication), following participation in a water-drinking contest earlier this year, (NET NEWS 1/15).
Since then, the station has regrouped, hired a new morning show under PD DAN MASON, has successfully advanced in the ratings, yet a wrongful-death suit still lingers. Former KDND morning co-host ADAM COX (known on-air as LUKAS), talked to KRCA-TV 3/SACRAMENTO about the events leading up to and beyond STRANGE's passing.
