SAN DIEGO’s MEC Network Inc has built a satellite studio in the heart of BURBANK, to help Top 40/Rhythmic XMOR (BLAZIN’ 98.9)/SAN DIEGO morning duo THE BAKA BOYZ and "the group’s Mexican CBC Network affiliate to develop an array of future digital and content strategies between L.A., SAN DIEGO and MEXICO CITY."
MEC CEO/Pres. MARIO MAYANS says, "The tri-city grid is something we envisioned and have been planning for some time. With multi-platform broadcast technologies a reality, and the key focus on content, being where it all happens creates instant access and opportunity to maximize these futures for the network."
Broadcasting from BURBANK enables THE BAKA BOYZ to get better access to major artists, celebrities and events. "This concept excited ERIC V., NICK V. and J. LOVE from the moment we tabled it," OM/Brand & Marketing LEE CORNELL said. "The guys are plugged in to the L.A. music and celebrity circuit and this brings it home to Diego."
