FCC's Tate Names Brownback Counsel As Legal Advisor

FCC Commissioner DEBORAH TAYLOR TATE has named AMY BLANKENSHIP as one of her legal advisors on children, family and media issues.
BLANKENSHIP has been serving as Sen. SAM BROWNBACK's (R-KS) Counsel on the SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, where she oversaw passage of the Broadcast Decency Act of 2005. BILL FREEDMAN, who has been detailed to TATE's office from the Media Bureau, is returning to the Media Bureau as Associate Chief.
