MCVAY MEDIA’s programming consultants have realigned. Joining the company as VP/Adult Contemporary is WBEB/PHILADELPHIA programmer CHRIS CONLEY. VP/Adult Formats DANIEL ANSTANDIG segues to Pres./MCVAY New Media. Joining him are new media experts ROCKIE THOMAS and SEAN LOZENSKY. JERRY KING is elevated to VP/Operations for the company, as well as adding Oldies to the formats that he consults.
MCVAY MEDIA Pres. MIKE MCVAY said, "DANIEL has been working on and growing our new media division since he joined us six years ago. The fact that we’re working with REGENT COMMUNICATIONS, CLEAR CHANNEL, DELMARVA and TESH INTERACTIVE has given us enough critical mass to add ROCKIE and SEAN and establish the division as an important part of MCVAY MEDIA’s future growth."
MCVAY continued, "I’ve been looking to add a person who can serve AC, as I do, for a long time. CHRIS CONLEY is a superb AC programmer. His knowledge of how to excel in the PPM world enables us to use his brain for both the AC format and for anyone who is facing electronic measurement. Frankly, he’s capable of consulting almost any format."
"DANIEL is heading up our New Media division," he adds, "and will work with ROCKIE and SEAN as we work with stations to build nontraditional revenue."
GM/co-founder/Partner DORIS MCVAY said, "MCVAY MEDIA began evolving to become a total media company when deregulation first began to significantly impact the industry in 1990. The fact that we’re the leading media consultancy, 24 years after we started the company, impresses even me. I’m really proud of what our team has created."
