The U.K.'s commercial radio companies have reorganized production of network shows into three production units. The shuffle is aimed at competing more effectively against the BBC.
GLOBAL RADIO's production division will handle all AC format network programming, including the chart show ("THE A-LIST") and the BRIT AWARDS show. GCAP MEDIA will handle the Top 40 format shows, including chart show "HIT 40 UK."
EMAP RADIO will handle Urban and Dance shows, including the "FRESH 40" chart show, which will continue to be produced by SOMETHIN' ELSE under EMAP's supervision.
