WKZL Matchbox Twenty Meet N' Greet -- Amazing!
October 11, 2007 at 2:46 PM (PT)
Talk about being a real pro, MATCHBOX TWENTY frontman ROB THOMAS epitomizes the word. ROB was set to do a "Lounge Performance" for DB Top 40 WKZL/GREENSBORO PD JASON GOODMAN and 150 listeners, but unfortunately ROB had food poisoning.
His reps delayed his appearance for an hour, but ROB showed up, and instead of singing, personally approached everyone there and shook their hand. He felt so bad about not singing that he bought tickets to all who attended for an upcoming show in NORTH CAROLINA.
JASON told ALL ACCESS, "Never have I seen such a great effort from a star of ROB's magnitude. He was so sick, we had to make sure a bathroom was always available to him during his meet & greet. I'm really impressed with him."
