Clear Channel Sells Charleston, SC AM

MARK and FAITH JORGENSON's INDIGO RADIO is buying Adult Standards WLTQ-A/CHARLESTON, SC from CLEAR CHANNEL for $608,230 in a promissory note. MARK JORGENSON is the President of CONCORD MEDIA GROUP, which has taken over spinoff stations from CLEAR CHANNEL in the past and which presently owns one station in FLORIDA.
In another deal filed with the FCC, FOREVER BROADCASTING is buying four stations in the JOHNSTOWN, PA market from 2510 ASSOCIATES for $3 million. The stations include Sports simulcast WPRR-A-WBHV-A, Oldies WCCL (COOL 101.7), and Contemporary Christian WLKH (K-LOVE)
PUBLIC RADIO, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM in KEY WEST, FL to EDUCATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO, INC. for $20,000. And CHRIS KIDD's EASTERN SIERRA BROADCASTING is selling the construction permit for FM translator K288FS/PAHRUMP, NV to MORGAN SKINNER's ROCKWELL MANAGEMENT, LLC for $10,000.
