CBC Gets New President/CEO

The CBC names attorney HUBERT LACROIX as its new President/CEO, effective JANUARY 1st. LACROIX replaces ROBERT RABINOVITCH, whose second term ends at the end of the year.
LACROIX, affiliated with MONTREAL's STIKEMAN ELLIOTT law firm, served as a basketball analyst for CBC French language network RADIO-CANADA's TV coverage of the OLYMPICS in 1984, 1988, and 1996 and was a regular contributor to R-C's "HEBDO SPORTS" radio show.
