MONTICELLO MEDIA has made a slew of on-air hi rings to the CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA stations it recently acquired from CLEAR CHANNEL. OM VINNIE KICE, who previously did mornings at Classic Rock WSUH (GENERATIONS 102.3 & 94.1), returns to the air in afternoons. Market veteran MARK MILLESON also comes in to do middays.
Sister Classic Rock WCJZ (TOM @ 107.5) is putting its first air personality on the on MONDAY, NOV. 26th, as VIRGINIA native KERRY JAMES gets into middays."I'm excited and honored to be the first air person on TOM and to become part of the MONTICELLO MEDIA team. This is a great radio station that’s part of a company that is committed to local radio. I've got lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season," said JAMES.
"MONTICELLO MEDIA’s commitment to providing the CHARLOTTESVILLE market with great local radio is very invigorating," said KICE. "There is a new level of energy in the operation that I've never seen here, or maybe anywhere else. It’s hard to keep track of all the positive activity that’s taken place in the short period of time MONTICELLO has been here, and I can tell you we're not done yet!"
