KPIG Goes National

DIAL GLOBAL DIGITAL NETWORKS and MAPLETON COMMUNICATIONS are coming together to syndicate the legendary Americana station KPIG, starting DEC. 31st, 2007.
KPIG is an award winning "Americana" station that has long been known for its quirky sense of humor, unique music and live DJ format. In 1995, KPIG was the first radio station in the country to stream on the Internet, The station continues to stream online at www.kpig.com.
"We are thrilled at the opportunity to partner with DIAL GLOBAL to expand the terrestrial reach of KPIG radio across the USA so listeners will be able to Tune In, Turn On, and Pig Out," stated MAPLETON Pres./CEO ADAM NATHANSON, owner of KPIG and 34 other radio stations. KPIG’s unique programming will be formatted for national satellite distribution and local replay by affiliated stations. Local affiliates will adopt the station moniker KPIG/Pig Radio, and enjoy a 24/7 Live format with support from DIAL GLOBAL. Additionally, DIAL GLOBAL will have an arrangement to provide KPIG to stations for use on HD.
