Dorman Elevated To VP At Country Thunder

COUNTRY THUNDER RECORDS/NASHVILLE has promoted industry veteran JIM DORMAN to VP/Promotions, effective immediately. DORMAN, who will report to VP DOC GONZALES, started with the label in FEB., 2007 and replaces BILL MAYNE, who recently left the label. GONZALES will oversee the label along with CEO HERBERT GRAHAM.
DORMAN came aboard at COUNTRY THUNDER as Director of Promotion, Northeast/Midwest, later shuffling to the Southeast. He told ALL ACCESS that he will be looking to replace himself in the Southeast. The other COUNTRY THUNDER Promo reps are RAY RANDALL (WEST) and RICK 'RJ' JORDAN (Northeast).
Prior to joining COUNTRY THUNDER, DORMAN programmed CITADEL Country WSJR/WILKES BARRE, however his vast and illustrious career includes stops at WARNER BROS., SONY/NASHVILLE and CLEAR CHANNEL KTOM/MONTEREY.
