LaMay Named Chairman Of DEI

DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE INC., the MINNEAPOLIS non-profit that supports public radio stations nationwide, has upped UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA noncommercial AAA WXPN/PHILADELPHIA GM ROGER LAMAY from Treasurer to Chairman, replacung UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS noncommercial KUT/AUSTIN GM STEWART VANDERWILT.
In addition, WITF, INC. noncommercial WITF-TV-F/HARRISBURG Pres./CEO KATHLEEN PAVELKO has been named Vice Chair, UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON noncommercial KUOW/SEATTLE Ass't. GM MARCIA SCHOLL has been named Secretary, and noncommercial KPBS-TV-F/SAN DIEGO Associate GM TOM KARLO has been named Treasurer of DEI. And MARCUS THOMAS LLC Managing Partner JOANNE KIM has joined DEI's board.
"It is an exciting time to take on this role at DEI," said LAMAY. "(DEI President) DOUG EICHTEN and his team are engaged in a number of projects of great importance to the future financial health of Public Radio stations, including Benchmarking, a Major Giving Initiative, and the 3MG national membership effort to bring 500,000 new donors to public radio."

ROGER LAMAY is an excellent example of a board member who has served the company and assisted me using good governance practices, sound advice and challenging goal setting.
