Mediabase Measures Jump In Led Zeppelin Airplay Due To Reunion Concert

The LED ZEPPELIN reunion concert led to a spike in airplay for the band's music in NORTH AMERICA, according to MEDIABASE, which measured increased airplay surrounding the DECEMBER 10 show in LONDON.
"The ZEPPELIN reunion had a very real and noticeable effect on radio programming," said MEDIABASE President and PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS EVP RICH MEYER.
According to MEDIABASE figures, airplay for LED ZEPPELIN increased 15.1% week-to-week comparing MONDAY and TUESDAY of this week versus the previous MONDAY and TUESDAY, from 3,514 to 4,139 spins in the U.S. and CANADA. The number of actual song titles increased by 21%, from 84 to 106.
