GLENN BECK's multimedia production company MERCURY RADIO ARTS ups GM/COO CHRISTOPHER BALFE to President and COO. BALFE, who played an important role in the extension of BECK's deal with PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS in 2007, will continue to manage BECK's day-to-day operations, including for BECK's PREMIERE radio show, his HEADLINE NEWS TV show, bestselling books, stage tour, website and magazine.
BECK said, "When CHRIS first joined me, I would have been lucky to sell my company for a pack of gum. Through his insight, stability, and business prowess that no entertainment company has seen since ROY O. DISNEY, our little company has grown into a multi-million dollar content production powerhouse. And the best part is, we’re just getting started."
BALFE, a former Senior Consultant with ACCENTURE who was BECK's second employee at MERCURY RADIO ARTS when he joined the company in 2003, said, “It is an incredible privilege to work for someone as talented, passionate and entertaining as GLENN. Even more rare, however, is to work with someone you trust and respect as much as I do GLENN. We have enjoyed tremendous success and I look forward to continuing to build on our momentum in the years to come."
