CBS Radio News Plans Continuous Super Tuesday Coverage

CBS RADIO NEWS will offer affiliates continuous coverage of the SUPER TUESDAY primaries on FEBRUARY 5th. DAN RAVIV will anchor the show from NEW YORK, with reporters at all major candidates' headquarters. The coverage will run 8a-midnight ET and will also be available at CBSNEWS.COM.
CBS NEWS VP. Radio HARVEY NAGLER said, "SUPER TUESDAY may be one of the most important events of this election year, so we are adding an important element to the already large menu of options for our affiliates." The additional coverage also includes short-form reports four times an hour from 7:20p through 12:50a ET and the following morning 5:20-11:50a ET. The network is also planning to feed unanchored feeds of concession and victory speeches and will make reporters and experts available for interviews by affiliates.
