Radio One Brings Music & Entertainment Conference to Philadelphia

RADIO ONE PHILADELPHIA, whose cluster includes Top-40/Rhythmic WPHI, Black Gospel WPPZ (PRAISE103.9) and Urban AC WRNB, is bringing THE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT CONFERENCE to PHILADELPHIA, SUNDAY MARCH 16th.
The event will feature five customized workshops. RADIO ONE PHILADELPHIA OM ELROY SMITH is the driving force behind this event, which is similar to the ones he developed in CHICAGO. The workshops include a MARY J BLIGE workshop, hosted by the singer herself and includes panelists such as BEANIE SIEGEL, FAT JOE, RICK ROSS and LUPE FIASCO. There will also be a gospel workshop headed by KIRK FRANKLIN, with DONALD LAWRENCE, TYE TRIBBETT and a “LISTEN & CRITIQUE WORKSHOP with producers MICHAEL BIVINS, DRE & VIDAL and CARVIN and IVAN. Finally, KOCH RECORDS is offering a single record deal as part of their workshop on “WHO’S HOT & WHO’S NOT.”

RADIO ONE stations Urban WERQ(92Q)/BALTIMORE, Urban WENZ/CLEVELAND and WCDX/RICHMOND are also participating in this event.
