Current CLEAR CHANNEL/BOSTON OM CADILLAC JACK will expand his duties at the company, and add the title of PD at CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1)/NEW YORK. Starting TOMORROW, CADILLAC will be based out of NEW YORK and continue to oversee CLEAR CHANNEL/BOSTON as OM. The joint announcement was made today by CC/NY Pres./Market Manager ROB WILLIAMS, SVP/Programming TOM POLEMAN and NE RVP/BOSTON Market Manager TOM MCCONNELL.
WILLIAMS stated, "I have known CADILLAC for many years and I couldn't be happier to add both his programming and leadership talents to the CCNY team."
MCCONNELL said, "I’m very excited for him both personally and professionally. CADILLAC is an extremely talented program director with an incredible performance record. This unique position will allow CADILLAC to continue building our strong brands here in BOSTON while developing the incredible talent in NYC at POWER 105.1."
Added POLEMAN, "CADILLAC is one of a small handful of programmers that I've depended on through the years for programming advice. He's a brilliant programmer who understands the importance of blending art and science. He's also an outstanding leader. I'm excited that we finally get a chance to work together in the same market."
Said CADILLAC, "My sincere thanks go to JOHN HOGAN and CLEAR CHANNEL management for creating this exciting and unprecedented opportunity! This expanded role allows me to work with the best in two great cities. POWER 105.1 has done an incredible job of laying a foundation for sustained success in the highly competitive NY marketplace, and our BOSTON stations are premiere properties in their respective formats as well. I look forward to joining forces with TOM POLEMAN, DOC WYNTER, and the talented team at POWER 105.1, and to setting many new records at all 3 stations in the years to come! "
Helen Little Segues To Middays At WLTW
HELEN LITTLE, who is the current PD at POWER 105.1, will be leaving the station to take over middays at sister station WLTW (106.7 LITE FM) starting FEBRUARY 5th.
LITTLE said, "This has always been my career goal to return to my on-air roots. My first ever radio job was on air at an AC station in NORTH CAROLINA. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the legendary WLTW and I’m de-‘LITE-ed’ to take on this new role in the CLEAR CHANNEL family."
