Sale Price Disclosed In KIOX Deal; Kalil Spins Texas FM To KSBJ

The price for the sale of Silent KIOX/EDNA, TX from KALIL AND CO.'s KALIL HOLDING GROUP, LLC to BOB BUCKALEW's BUCKALEW MEDIA is $70,000, according to the sale contract filed with the FCC. The station, currently off the air, covers an area southwest of HOUSTON and northeast of VICTORIA.
In other deals filed with the FCC, OSCAR AGUERO MINISTRY is selling W268AM/GLOUCESTER, MA to EMERSON COLLEGE for $70,000; and KEVIN M. FITZGERALD is selling W237DE/HARRISBURG, PA to CUMULUS for $75,000.
Kalil Spins Texas FM To KSBJ
KALIL AND CO. has spun off another of the stations it acquired through KALIL HOLDING CO. for resale, selling Classic Country KMBV (LONESTAR FM)/NAVASOTA, TX to KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, INC. for an undisclosed price. KSBJ owns noncommercial Contemporary Christian KSBJ/HOUSTON, KXBJ/VICTORIA, KYBJ/LAKE JACKSON, KZBJ/BAY CITY, and the construction permit for KBEX/BRENHAM, TX.
KALIL AND CO. represented itself and JOHN W. SAUNDERS represented KSBJ in the deal.
