PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS is moving RUSH LIMBAUGH from ENTERCOM Talk WWL-A/NEW ORLEANS to crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WRNO-F on APRIL 1st. LIMBAUGH has not been airing on the simulcast's FM side, where extended FM-only editions of local shows with JOHN "SPUD" MCCONNELL and GARLAND ROBINETTE have been airing in its place.
ENTERCOM NEW ORLEANS Market Manager CHRIS CLAUS tells the NEW ORLEANS TIMES-PICAYUNE that CLEAR CHANNEL, owner of both WRNO and PREMIERE, has "done this across the country to try to jump-start stations. We did not initiate this move."
