The SUPREME COURT may decide this week to take up the case of the FCC's punishment of "fleeting expletives."
The case has landed at the high court on appeal by the Justice Department, which wants the justices to reverse a lower court ruling that the rule is arbitrary and vague and remanded decisions based on it to the Commission.
Solicitor General PAUL CLEMENT has appealed the case in an attempt to restore the rule.
