Sports Talker Charged With Investment Fraud

A sports talk show host has been charged with investment fraud in gaining backers for his show's production company.
The NORTHWEST FLORIDA DAILY NEWS reports that SCOTT MCKINNEY allegedly sold more than 100% of the shares of his SOUTHERN SPORTS TONIGHT LLC, claiming to be expanding and needing equipment. After investors compared notes and added up more than 100% of shares, the OKALOOSA COUNTY Sheriff's Office arrested MCKINNEY FRIDAY; he has been charged with felony investment fraud, theft, and racketeering. The investors allege that MCKINNEY took almost $140,000 from them.
